Flame Atronach Costume by RagemoreRoberts Flame Atronach Costume by RagemoreRoberts
Heres a shot from the amazing Darren Rowley (you can find him on fb) Of my Flame Atronach costume for the studio shoot we did just a few hours ago. I cant believe how amazing it looks. So much hard work and love went into this costume, its amazing to see it in some good photos.

Impressed.

I like the way you did the flame hair/head - which seems to be the toughest challenge for a cosplay like this.
I mean if you intend to stand around and take a few pictures sure but in a con setting one probabably should retain some field of vision. Do you actually see with this headpiece on?
Or maybe... Just wondering how much of it is photoshop enhanced and how much is crafted. Did you take progress pictures?

Wow. Late response. Havent been on here in forever.

So if you look through my gallery, you'll see I have maybe one other photo of me in it at a convention. I actually broke my foot the night before I wore it, so could only wear it for a short period of time at the convention. And now, I cant wear the shoes anymore. :/ The mask is actually totally see throughable. It has really strategic holes. I have a whole bunch of progress pics, but they are all wholed up on my personal FB. I promise you though, the only real editing on the photo might have been some contrast etc. The costume itself isnt edited.

Don't worry - I don't check dA too regularly myself.

Then I am double impressed - the effect is really great. I did my own version of the flame atronach - but chose to go a different route with the head piece. Not as accurate as yours, but without any problems seing and interacting with people.

Also Kudos for wearing it despite a broken foot - that takes some determination. Glad you decided all that hard work on a challenging choice of costume!

Oh wow I don't even want to imagine how much that would cost, because that is the best Flame Atronach costume I've ever seen!

Looks awesome!
The lines on the chest and in the "Hair" are smallish, but they do a lot to break up those large expanses of color. I dig the mods!

From the last shot you put up.
The two black vertical lines on the chest and the V shape in the hair/fire weren't there.
(I asked about how you see in that mask.)

Ahh. I figured they would be big enough because they are actually not very big on the atronach in game. Slightly different styled. But something I just remembered too late for the con!
